| 308640 | 2004-12-30 00:53:00 | Yeah, but the confusion is there when the router tells him a 202.* AND a 203.* IP address, both external NZ IP addresses :o I think one of them might be his gateway or a DNS server. |

Yes, sorry - one is labelled "IP Address", the other labelled "Gateway". I do find it interesting that yesterday (and for at least a week) the one labelled "IP Address" and the address given on numerous sites on the net did not match, however today they do. The one on different sites (such as whatismyip.com) for the past week hasn't changed until today, whereas the one in my router settings appears to change...? So do I take the one in the router settings as my IP address, or the one given in whatismyip.com? Mike. |

Your ISP might have taken the cache out of the loop. |
