| 309343 | 2004-12-31 22:19:00 | hey guys, i just got this new pc, it worked for a while and 2 days ago when i tried starting it up it goes to a white line on the top left of a black screen left it like that for llike 3 hrs and it still didnt work, i have amd anthlon 3000 xp 64 bit, 1 gb ram, 160 gb hd, and radeon 9600 xt, any suggestions on what i can do to fix it?? | crisb2oo7 (6732) | ||

| 309346 | 2004-12-31 22:42:00 | Ah ok then. Ummm, you could try resetting the CMOS/BIOS, with the jumpers on the motherboard. With the system off. See if that fixes it. Did u flash the BIOS recently, why u think its the BIOS?? When u start/boot the system, can u hear any beeps at all?? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 309348 | 2004-12-31 22:59:00 | U take the BIOS/CMOS jumper off for a while for about 1-3 minutes then put it back on... It wont boot if u leave it off... Then once u boot the system, see if u can go into the BIOS and set whatever settings u need. Then save the settings in the BIOS. |

Those beeps will mean something. Go to your BIOS manufacturer's site and find out what the beeps are telling you. |
