| 309100 | 2004-12-30 22:52:00 | im building my own pc and ive got all the parts and everything together and it all looks ready to go, but when i turn it on nothing shows up on the monitor. The hard drive starts spinning, all the fans including the processor fan work, and the light on my cd drive is on although it wont open. My video card is getting power because the built on fan on it is running. Anyone know what the problem could be? | huntgrav (6725) | ||
| 309101 | 2004-12-30 22:58:00 | try hitting the reset button. also check the ram is seated correctly. try starting the system up with only the most basic parts connected. whats the specs of the system? |

| 309103 | 2004-12-30 23:33:00 | i got a celeron D processor with 2.8 GHz a kingston hyperx 512 RAM chip 60 gig harddrive and a AGP 8x/4x 128mb graphic accelerator card i tried restarting it also i might mention that my power supply has no switch in the back; the comp turns on whenever i plug it up and the switch at the front of the case seems to do nothing when i push it | huntgrav (6725) | ||
