| 308996 | 2004-12-30 21:22:00 | HI I just Formated MY hardisk and installed XP Pro. But whenever i try to get in Msconfig. it crashes. and in Internet Explorer, Whenever I try to go any web it doesnt load it fully. Im on Broadband so Internet shuldnt be the prob. |

| 308997 | 2004-12-30 21:47:00 | By formatting I take it u mean u booted from cd and then let setup format then install XP?? Not just overwrite over an existing version of Windows/XP? When you say crashes, it reboots the system? Or Msconfig just crashes? Can you get into control panel / admin tools/event viewer, to see what it says there? |

| 308998 | 2004-12-30 22:41:00 | are you running any firewall and antivirus? an unprotected system is not going to last long on the net. if its just msconfig crashing there is a possibility your infected with something. some virus and spyware will try to shutdown anything trying to access it eg msconfig antivirus etc. |
