| 309600 | 2005-01-01 19:53:00 | Does the hard drive and fans run? It really sounds like a loose cable - try refitting the vid card, maybe into another pci slot, and ensure the monitor cable is firmly fitted | Greg (193) | ||
| 309601 | 2005-01-01 20:37:00 | after some things got changed around....and after changing the graphics card Well if you say you've changed the graphics card right? Have you uninstalled the drivers BEFORE installing the new card and it's drivers? Which OS are you using? If the new graphics card is the GF2 MX then what card did it replace? Was it another nVidia chipset based board or not? If you havn't uninstalled the drivers that could be your problem... also do you get any beeps when you start the PC.... do you get into POST at all? cheers chiefnz |

| 309602 | 2005-01-01 22:04:00 | The bios might be set to load with an onboard video card, or the old one (if it was in a different slot) If there are any other video cards in the computer, try plugging the monitor into them, going into the bios and changing the primary VGA adapter to PCI. |
