Are you getting an upgrade kit and installing yourself which I gathered from the fact that you are putting in the current GF 6600 GT Video card yourself. What operating system are you using? What is your current system and does it run Halflife2 at all albeit very slowly? You just may be better off upgrading your current system with a better video card and then again maybe not. You could spend close to $1000 just for a Video card or even more if you wanted. Thank goodness for those that play the latest and greatest GAMES!!! They and Overclockers are at the cutting ( or bleeding ) edge. |

I think you will be seriously bottlenecking the video card with that processor, and underutilising the RAM as well as the processor runs at only 333FSB. If you still want Socket A stuff at least go with NForce 2. |

With such graphic card as what you have, I don't see why you can't get a better CPU. In a way, the CPU may limit the performace of the graphic card. | ~sy~ (95) | ||
