| 309629 | 2005-01-08 23:45:00 | Doesn't hurt and covers all the bases. The "Delete autocomplete" can contain names and form-fillers that users no longer remember. This can cause some discord , so therefore thats why I advise not to tick it. The only thing this cleaner doesn't do, is cleanout the c:\windows\prefetch folder, which can grow quite large. I generally do that manually myself. |

| 309630 | 2005-01-09 01:34:00 | You will almost certainly find the entry i n the registry. run Regedit and do a search for the URL which appears in you start page. this should take you to the line which starts the program which is doing the changning. as a safety mesure just change something in the program name so that it cant be found by windows and restart. If this has cured the roblem then go to the program location and change the file name there to something different. Give it a few days then delete. Piva |

We always start with the easiest and work up to the more complicated. It is no use me describing how to use Hijackthis, when CWShredder could have done the job. Our psyhic abilities are not too good. Anyway, you got rid of it via the ultimate method. May I suggest you download an "innoculation" program that is free and doesn't tie up any resources.
