| 310112 | 2005-01-07 04:53:00 | No, I wouldnt do a clean install. So how exactly are you connecting? Via a DHCP Assigned IP Address to a Router? What happens when you run dhcpcd as root from your installation (Not off the LiveCD)? ifconfig shows...??? Otherwise, try: ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.234 echo "nameserver 192.168.0.1" > /etc/resolv.conf route add default gw 192.168.0.1 Modify the IP addresses to suit and see if it'll work with a static IP.
