| 311017 | 2005-01-05 21:36:00 | Hi i got a problem with my CD-RW i am using cyberdrive 48/24/48/16 combo drive to burn dics. At half way buring a disc the cd-writer causes a write error. And it's not recoverable. It happened several times. I tried different brand cd-R s and i am using nero 6.3.3 ultra version to burn discs My cd writer is nearly 1 years old and the problem started from 2 to 3 months. I am running Xp pro on mY P4 1.6gnz processor with 256 SD RAm Please Help. |

| 311018 | 2005-01-05 21:37:00 | Disable autorun on your PC. What IDE channel is the CD Writer on? And is it master or slave? Try putting it on it's own channel. |

| 311021 | 2005-01-06 20:29:00 | If it is Master, its likely to be on secondary IDE as the HDD is usually Master on the primary . The question is - what else is on that secondary IDE channel? Is there anything else on the flat ribbon cable that the CD Drive uses? If not, it's already on it's own channel . |
