310502 2005-01-04 04:07:00 After installing an extra 512MB of Memory, my computer won't start up. It worked when I remove the extra 512 megs. How do I know if I installed it correctly or if it's damaged?

Thanks
David

310505 2005-01-04 04:32:00 Try swaping them around to determine if it is the PC, the slot or the memory. Webbase (265)
310506 2005-01-04 04:35:00 It depends on what version of Windows you're using, and whether the motherboard you have can support the extra 512mb.

What version of Windows have you got / are you using??

And how much memory would you have with the 512mb installed??

How much ram was in the system, before u added the extra 512mb??
