311176 2005-01-06 06:49:00 is there a program that monitors the cpu temp
if so where would i go
my mother board is a biostar
an the cpu is a celeron
an am running windows me

311177 2005-01-06 06:53:00 theres motherboard monitor,Hmonitor which are the good ones, or you can get everest that reports the temp but doesnt show it in the tray.

what speed is the celeron? do you have enough cool air flow through your case?

i would think it has enough air flow but i wouldnt really know
about that. i have just been told to keep an eye on the temp
as it could do funny things if it gets to hot

311179 2005-01-06 07:11:00 There is most probably a hardware monitor utility that can be downloaded from Biostar, that will give you temperatures.

311180 2005-01-06 07:12:00 a good temp monitoring utilitie i use is speedfan 4.16 shows temp of cpu and mobo and allows you to control the speed of the fans yea, shows temps in taskbar aswell and has graphs showing temperatures, fan speeds and voltages and otha stuff.. it good... jackrulz (2216)
