311105 2005-01-06 04:46:00 I have a Dynalink Modem with a Contexant Chipset and i want to try and use it with Mandrake Linux 9.2 Dannz (1668)
311106 2005-01-06 04:54:00 Take a look at www.linuxant.com, that's going to be your best bet. agent (30)
311107 2005-01-06 04:56:00 does it automaticly find the modem?, find the linux drivers from the makers website Prescott (11)
311108 2005-01-06 07:10:00 linuxant drivers are good, once installed you are away, but
they are crippled to 14400 unless you pay I think mine was $14.00 nz which gives you a activation key, they provide clear instructions on how to unlock the driver.
Another important point here make sure you know your kernel release version
uname -a will tell you this. As the driver is often matched to the kernel version

311109 2005-01-06 07:21:00 Dynalink are good with Linux drivers. If you browse the http://www.dynalink.co.nz/ website and follow your nose from Drivers > Linux you should find some helpful links. Jen (38)
