| 311466 | 2005-01-07 01:44:00 | Start by noting the ambient temperature in the room. If the case temp is reported as 12 degrees, then the room must be quite cold? The temperature cannot be below the ambient temperature, and will fluctualte in accordance with it. 75 degrees sounds a bit hot. Answers are here: www.heatsink-guide.com Remember that the on board sensors and software used to interrogate them can be a long way off the true temperature though. |

| 311468 | 2005-01-07 02:34:00 | check the true temperature through the BIOS That's likely to be better in that it bypasses non compensated/incorrectly compensated Windows software, but it still is only as good as the matching of the thermocouple with the BIOS software. No calibration will have been done in the factory. = It's still only very "approximate" |
