Go down to startup type, change it to automatic and then click on start underneath it. (If it isnt on Manual or Autiomatic already). Is INCD installed as well, or just Nero??? |

| 311763 | 2005-01-09 10:57:00 | The built in burning program in XP leaves a CD open, which is the best way to make sure it has the least compatibility with older drives. Sure, it's drop dead easy to use, but it's like trying to use a bicycle to travel overseas in comparison to both Nero and Adaptec products in terms of what they offer you. Have you considered verifying the important things you write to disk? XP's burner can not do this, and if it's important enough to burn to disk, shouldn't you make sure it can be read back? Just some food for thought. |
