| 312097 | 2005-01-08 11:17:00 | Help! We have two computers hooked up to Linksys DSL router using a Wired Country 256k connection. Whenever I try to access certain websites such as trademe my internet access disconnects and I need to reset the router. I thought it may have been a viurs since my partners computer is able to access these sites without any problems but when I access them it cuts off our connection and gets a bit annoyed :( I have an up to date Norton Antivirus and regularly screen with both Norton and Ad-Aware. Any suggestions?? |

| 312098 | 2005-01-08 13:05:00 | Contact your ISP . I'm not sure why it would disconnect you but we had some problems with UBS customers when the service was launched being unable to access certain websites, Trademe being one of them . It turned out to be cache problem i think . Anyways I digress . Contact wired country about it . That is highly unusual Help! Clean out the cache. Suggest a little program that will do it for you, plus some. www.ccleaner.com Tick all the boxes apart from the one that mentions Autocomplete, then after it has done it'e thing, restart PC and test to see if the problem is fixed. |

| 312101 | 2005-01-09 02:14:00 | Thanks guys . I used CCleaner and I think my problem had disappeared! So far I have been on trademe for 5 mins without being cut off so it looks like that was the problem . Now you'll have to hope my hubby forgives you for letting return to my trademe-whoring ways . lol . |

| 312103 | 2005-01-09 03:46:00 | Well, I have given it some time and the connection does still cut off but less frequently. Before I did my spring clean my connection was cutting out every 2-3 webpages, but now its a lot less eg 5 mins of surfing. At least I can list some auctions now. Should I ring Country Wired? |
