| 312066 | 2005-01-08 09:55:00 | Hi all Happy New Year to you all just a quick help... i took out my LG-8161B internal DVD drive and replace with the Ricoh DVD Writer Drive, when i plug this thing in, the computer can't even detect it at all... even i re-plug the LG dvd drive, it can't even detect as well for your information the LG drive is still working prior i remove the plug.... and the motherboard that i am using is the one which got Energy Star logo on it... and i clearly remember that when the LG was there, it does show that drive has been detected, now it is show none on the secondary slave.... it is a Pentium 4 2.8GHz Processor... thank you for your quick help and looking forward your reply as soon as possible Jacky |
