This is the first time I have added attachments to a post. All going well there will be two images to give a complete picture of the Alsa Mixer.

Does everything look OK or do I need to add or remove anything?

Thanks, Antonia

313064 2005-01-14 03:50:00 No, that obviously did not work.
I have the jpg images in my home file. Copied and pasted them into the post.
In the faq for postings it tells me to use the browser at the bottom of the post to locate files and attach them.
I could not find any browser button anywhere.
I am mystified. Ready for a lesson to learn how to do it.
Please help.

Thanks, antonia

Thanks, AntoniaAntonia, the sad news is that to post an image for us to see, you must upload it to some webspace somewhere and link to it. You can either upload the image to one of your own sites, or use this service, provided by a PF1 member for this purpose

You cannot insert images into posts as this option has been disabled in the forum software. Just upload your jpg's to ImageF1 which you can find here (sal.neoburn.net) and then post the URL's in the thread. :)

[Edit:] Ok, so I am a bit slow off the mark, and I see personthingy has answered and supplied the upload site :D

That must be right.
Please let me know if any changes to Alsa Mixer are needed.

Learning lots to-day, Antonia

313068 2005-01-14 19:37:00 I would be inclined to play around with the mix.

Open up xmms for me
Right-click on it and choose Options --> Preferences

What output plugin does it use? If its using ALSA, try OSS, or aRts, or ESD even...

Chill.

313069 2005-01-15 23:58:00 Have decided to forget about sound in FC3 for the time being.
I do love Fedora and will keep using it, but will stick with XP for sound.

So thanks everyone,
Antonia
