| 312775 | 2005-01-13 23:18:00 | Wrong, phoenix. I wish people would be more careful with units. "M" means "mega" -- one million, binary or decimal. "m" means "milli" --- one thousandth. A convention has arisen that "B" means "byte", "b" means "bit". A 19 "mb" (millibit) file would be a very small file. (In fact it would be undetectable ... ) The difference between decimal millions (10^6) and binary "millions" (2^20) is small -- only about 4%. Mumble, mumble ... :D |
