313623 2005-01-13 09:09:00 Can we look at the second part of the original question please. Have started another thread so that I won't get confused (some hopes).
It was :- How to transfer an email from Maryann's OE across to PJ's OE. From either computer to the other over our network? Thanks PJ

313625 2005-01-13 10:02:00 How many emails are you talking about.

A few: just save them as emails and move them accross as any other file.

Lots: you could import them but you would have to share nearly the whole computer.

313626 2005-01-13 10:10:00 if there is only a few save them as text files, load them onto a usb drive and shift them to the other machine by hand. or just dump them after saving anything which you really need.
I reckon I could dump 99% of the emails I have saved on my machine and it wouldn't matter at all.
Do you really think you will go back and look at them?

313627 2005-01-13 10:28:00 PJ,Just select them all, drag them out of OE into a folder, access that folder from the other comp, drag them into your OE.

Or

To send via your email client

Select the messages you wish to transfer, hit the foward button, and foward them to yourself, but instead of sending and recieving, hit the little arrow to show the drop down box and just hit send.

wait 1.5 minutes, press recieve on the other comp and Bingo was his namo....

313630 2005-01-14 08:17:00 Whilst I am in here. I have had a look at Office Outlook in conjunction with my OE postings.. I must have changed something, as now I get a double download in OE. The same E-mail twice. What have I done. PJ Poppa John (284)
