313321 2005-01-12 21:03:00 I know this is blindingly obviouis to many but I can't find what it's all about. Google comes up "TB is great!" or the "TB is the way to go" etc.

I use Opera and it's apparently great for it but what is it?

Does is mean you have different things open so can switch back and forth?

If so my browser does'nt seem to keep many things open. They seem to "drop off" and dissapear.

Just wondering

www.ex-astris-scientia.org

That is tabbed browsing.

Tabbed browsing is where you have tabs along the top of your browser which you can use to switch between webpages if you have more than one page open. It saves having multiple instances of your browser open and taking up taskbar space.
