314011	2005-01-14 12:23:00	I keep getting Windows Explorer (I use Opera) opening windows which are trying to connect to advertising sites. I have tried to detect (using various spyware progs and avg antivirus) which program is responsible for this but no luck so far. I have heard that msams.exe could be a malware program, and I found it in the registry as the run command for windows media player. Could this be part of the problem? Any other ideas?	bpt2 (6653)

This O4 - HKLM\ . . \Run: [kalvsys] C:\windows\system32\kalvslj32 . exe is some kind of spyware . Go to start/run and type regedit . Then go here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run And here HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run See if there is kalvslj32 . exe in either (in the right panel) . If so, highlight it and delete it . Then reboot . And try this program . simplysup . com/tremover/" target="_blank">www . simplysup . com download it update it then scan . Then also, under the utilities menu, select the 3rd and 4th option . One will/should reset the home page, and the other should fix the hosts file .
