1378055 2014-06-27 10:53:00 Very often, I get this error (as shown below) when I open Winamp.

5799

I don't have drive K: I'm using Winamp ver 5.63 (x86)

Winamp is working fine, otherwise.

How and where to configure Winamp to stop looking for the drive K: ?

1378056 2014-06-27 11:20:00 Try how-to-turn-off-WinAmp-new-drive-detectionimport (www.dslreports.com) Video as well www.youtube.com

Somewhere in the plug ins there should be the option relating to the error /drive. ( This is a guess - try the input or Output)

LOTS of links relating to winamp are dead on google, thats got to do with the fact winamp is no more - History - Gone - Finished.

1378060 2014-06-27 23:57:00 What do you folks use to play music nowadays? Music - Generally either Windows Media Player or iTunes :xmouth: ;)

Movies / Video / blu-Ray to many to select from these days - Giveawayoftheday has different players all the time - I use what ever takes my fancy at the time.
( Picture says a thousand words) they all play either music or Video.

1378064 2014-06-28 06:43:00 After Winamp was killed, I switched to Clementine. Works on both Linux and Windows, so my experience is consistent... although it does have a couple of minor issues. Playing Audio CDs is one of them. I can only get it to play them in Linux, and even then, there's no CDDB.

As for Winamp, possibly you have some media in your library which was on a K:\ drive at some point in history and now it can't find it?
