1362977 2013-12-19 00:31:00 Just got it - seems better featured than Foxit. Greg (193)
1362978 2013-12-19 01:14:00 I use Sumatrapdf for opening PDF files. And Foxit for editing them Speedy Gonzales (78)
1362979 2013-12-19 02:40:00 It's also worth remembering / mentioning that Firefox has a built-in PDF viewer now (no external programs required).

True, but I find it very resource-intensive, especially if you open multiple files at once or if you open something graphics-heavy (or even with just lots of text in tables or such!)

Same here.

1362981 2013-12-19 07:11:00 I changed from Foxit to Sumatra and then to Nitro, which beats both of the other two hands down BUT Nitro takes a lot longer to start than Sumatra does. This may be because it always tries to "phone home" when opened. Preventing net access with my firewall shaves a second or two off the time but it is still noticeably slower to open than Sumatra. Anyone else notice this or is it just me? FoxyMX (5)

Yep, I find it quite slow to open as well.
