1362966 2013-12-18 17:49:00 Nitro now, used to use Foxit, also used to use Sumatra. Can't remember how long ago since I ditched Adobe gary67 (56)
1362967 2013-12-18 18:52:00 Sumatra here. Used Foxit until it turned to crap. Never tried Nitro. Adobe was bloat after version 5. Agent_24 (57)
1362968 2013-12-18 19:34:00 I use whatever it is that automaticaly opens when I download a PDF with IE11 and click on open. It works perfectly to read and print out PDFs. I do not see a need for editing them. CliveM (6007)
1362969 2013-12-18 19:44:00 Nitro  Great program esp the Pro version, the free ones not to bad either, no hidden surprises.

Used Foxit for a few years, was OK, but then they started bundling "extras" in with the free versions, read as advertising & Malware.

Ditto - the exact reason I changed to Nitro - no "surprises" when installing/upgrading

1362970 2013-12-18 19:47:00 I still use Foxit but admit the latest update has made printing very slow while it "flattens" every page before printing.. paulw (1826)
1362971 2013-12-18 21:09:00 Just tried Nitro - seems quick and simple to use. For printing large docs, it would have Foxit for lunch and still save a lot of time. Seems to be a keeper, Thanks! R2x1 (4628)
1362972 2013-12-18 21:45:00 Right, chucked Nitro on the families pc, looks like a pretty nice program. Nice to get rid of Adobe reader on there. Nick G (16709)
1362973 2013-12-18 22:45:00 Sumatra here. Used Foxit until it turned to crap. Never tried Nitro. Adobe was bloat after version 5.

This.

It's also worth remembering / mentioning that Firefox has a built-in PDF viewer now (no external programs required).

1362975 2013-12-18 23:29:00 Is there a free version of Nitro?? When I go to their web site it looks like it's all paid versions.. paulw (1826)
