For that reason less than 50% of eligble voters bothered to vote in this one. The whole exercise was a Labor/Green jackup with a totaly predictable result. 80% of voters said no to the anti smacking laws referendum but the then Labor/Green government thought it was just fine to ignore that vote. I fail to see any reason to get upset that National ignores this one. |

Well fair enough. If they can't afford to buy them back then they shouldn't... I'm sensing a lot of people getting upset over nothing here. |
