| 1377367 | 2014-06-17 23:04:00 | On my Windows 7 virtual machine, I get a completely black window (like the one below) when trying to launch Chrome or Opera. The uninstallers don't appear to work either so I can't reinstall. 5778 Any ideas? :stare: |

| 1377368 | 2014-06-18 00:32:00 | Joke fix--- Turn on the lights - thats why its dark :p Maybe the VM gotten corrupted somewhere along the lines. ( thats one good thing about VM's) screw them and oh bummer -- OK drop back the original working backup back in -- We do have a backup dont you ? :nerd: Serious something to try :) try starting Chrome in safe mode, seems its not always easy, but did find the following instructions: oxosocial.com Basically disable any add-ins. normally I'd try disabling hardware acceleration and see if that helps. :2cents: |
