One of our basic mobile phones is two or three years old and takes a 2 Degrees SIM card. I want to transfer to Skinny but the phone isn't listed on their website as compatible. Since it is OK with 2 Degrees is it likely to also be compatible with Skinny or will I be wasting my time ordering a SIM? |

We are looking at doing the same stuff with parent's phones. Skinny runs on Telecom so they need a 850Mhz which is unlikely for a basic phone, in main cities maybe they work on 2100Mhz? Their websites so say that. 2D/Vodafone is the 900/2100 network afaik. Skinny is also having a Xmas promotion that if you top up $50 you get a free phone that might be worth $25 at The Warehouse but you do get all the amount in your balance .... |

Skinny is Telecom, so unlikely to work even aided by an iron lung. |
