| 1363105 | 2013-12-20 05:33:00 | I want a new car(2005) and have been offered $6000 for a 2005 Echo with 97k and 3k for a 98 Nissan Primera wagon. I should keep them both as have wasted a fortune on cars over the years. I have taken a fancy to a 2005 Toyota Caldina with 23 k on the clock, fo 16 k. I wish I knew someone wanting above cars, rather someone buy them than dealer make an extra 2 k on each. While on the subject of easy money, next door sold house, agent spent 2 hrs on job, fee = 18k. |

| 1363107 | 2013-12-20 10:59:00 | Hmm Cicero. I must've got rather lucky to get the car I bought just today... a shiny 2006, 2.0L NZ new Ford Mondeo with just 80k on the clock, for.... $7900.00. Immaculate too with an ideal service history, including four almost brand new decent Bridgestone tyres, 12 months WOF and 6 months road licence. ;-) | Greg (193) | ||

I'll do it , thanks CS. |

I can tell you you'd get more than that off Trademe. Dealers always offer low $ so they can add a huge markup. So...why not just keep your cars then and stop spending? |

How it works is there is a standard fee all agents charge ( this varies from company to company) and then approx 4% of the sales price +gst. May have been 2 hours at the actual house, but what you dont see is all the work thats done in the background / Office. The price may or may not include advertising as well. Different locations will have an effect as well on price. This is a quote from SWMBO who works for a real estate company. ( PS: She is NOT an agent) |
