2005-01-16 21:24:00 | Does anyone have a clue if it possible to use a .doc or .xls file as a wallpaper ?? And if so how ?? :@@: | PlanC (6890) | |
2005-01-16 21:37:00 | No idea how to make .doc or .xls files as a wallpaper but you could open them full screen, do a screenshot then save them as .jpg files and use those. ;) | FoxyMX (5) | |

Paste it into a program that knows what a pic is, crop it if u want, and save it as a jpg file or bmp, for whatever version of windows u have. If u have XP, save it to: C:/windows/web/wallpaper folder, or my documents/my pictures folder. And select it thru properties/desktop in XP. |

2005-01-17 01:06:00 | Hmmm!! Another way to do it may be if you saved the .doc or .xls as a webpage (File - Save as Webpage) somewhere you'll rememeberr it, then right click on the desktop - properties, desktop (tab) - Browse to that folder, click on the down arrow on the right of the 'Files of Type' text box (at the bottom of that dialog box) and hopefully you should be able to choose that HTM/HTML file. I think that's how it works. Otherwise it looks as though only a screen shot of what was being displayed will be seen. As has been said, if you want to interact with it, then I think a phone call to Bill G is the next step! ;) Regards, The Cell

2005-01-17 07:49:00 | Great answers.... I never thought of print screen.... but you have given me something to think on. If I find a better way, I will let you know... Editable would be good as I intend on updating my stock states on a daily basis (instead of using a whyteboard). However I may send in to uncle Bill as a suggestion for future releases.... Thanks to all who replied... Plan C
