| 314694 | 2005-01-16 05:48:00 | Hi all. I have some AVI files of my a rellative has given me for my kids. I was wanting to put them (4 in total) onto a single DVD with a menu structure etc. I have Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2.5SE however it doesn't seem to read the AVI files in to convert. Can anyone please suggest a (preferably free or trial version) application that can author AVI movies to DVD format along with creating a menu structure? | southern_jas (4017) | ||
| 314695 | 2005-01-16 05:58:00 | I used a programme called cucusoft (was a while ago) that did this successfully. There were a couple of things I noticed. The AVI file was about 650MB, the finished product was about 1.5GB. Also, it took a loooooonnng time. The result was pretty good. | sam m (517) | ||
| 314696 | 2005-01-16 06:06:00 | Nerovision 3 www.nero.com u can download it separately from Nero, it does AVI (and other video formats) straight to a DVD or cd (depending on whether u want to burn a DVD or SVCD/VCD), and lets u add menus etc.. This comes with a few extra programs. Dont know what the limitations are if it isnt registered. BUT its pretty big if u use dialup (33.95mb) |
