This is because you've selected the UK keyboard layout . Control Panel --> Regional Language In the regional options tab, select English New Zealand (this might fix teh date issue as well) . Then select the Language tab, click details, and select a US keyboard in there . |

| 314705 | 2005-01-16 19:07:00 | OK, what format do you want the date in? (dd/mm/yy?) | B.M. (505) | ||
| 314706 | 2005-01-17 04:14:00 | Wrinkley I would like my date to be day month, Now when formatted to day month ie 14 march and i enter 14/3 then that is what is shown not 14 march, I have tried 14\3 but same result.Only when the first number is below 12 do you get the month but in the reverse order ie 12/3 comes up 3rd dec. same with custom.With my old pc I could change my formatting without any trouble. must be a setting somewhere | peter pan (6885) | ||
| 314707 | 2005-01-17 05:32:00 | Oh dear! 14/3 works fine on mine . (14th March) OK, given your other problems how about going: Help - Detect & Repair . You may get asked for you disk in this procedure, but it will check that the installation is correct . |
