Reinstalling after 120 days has finished seems to work much better...if you can be bothered that is :) B. but you need to activate it dont you, ive got a 120day winxp pro trial here, i think after you activate it the 2nd time it wont work, i might be wrong but why would microsoft basicly give you a free copy of there software then?? |

I just build my win2k3 server then take a ghost image of it. When the trial expires I ghost the image back on and reinstall exchange which Ive kept on a seperate partition. Its a bit of a pain but I only use it at home for mucking around so it doesnt really matter. XPPro wouldnt work like this because if you made a ghost image after the install it would still have recorded the start date of the install so you would be stuffed if you tried to restore the image. There are more devious ways to get around activation but we dont mention them here :cool: B. |
