| 315694 | 2005-01-19 05:27:00 | Hi everyone. I've been "experimenting" with getting network printers to work. Since I haven't found any drivers for Win 95 (I don't mind, I'll just save it onto the printer computer & print it later). But I tried some old drivers and printed a test page, but it never got through & I deleted the printer from the old computer. But I tried to print off something today, and it wouldn't print. A look in the printer tab shows that the test page is there, blocking it off. It won't print, and it won't delete either (Sits there while the document I tried deletes fine). I've tried in Safe mode, but it dosen't show up. It's a HP PSC 1315. It shows up as "Owner- Guest". If it's likely to work, i'll go into the guest account and delete it from there. Any help appreciated :) Thanks, Edward |

| 315696 | 2005-01-19 05:46:00 | The computer with the printer is Windows XP, and the printer is on USB. The job was requested from Windows 95, but I'll give it a go :) | Edward (31) | ||
| 315697 | 2005-01-19 05:50:00 | It is done different on XP. You can kill the print spooler service and then restart it. Have a google for these instructions as I can't remember the commands for it. Either that, or take a look under Services in Admin tools. | Jen (38) | ||
