| 316172 | 2005-01-20 20:25:00 | After boot up an error message stating.... "Error loading C:/Windows/System32/Bridge.dll" Module cannot be found. Any ideas as to why this is now playing up and how to get rid of it? |

One small problem now is how to speed up startup - after you log into XP it can take up to 5 minutes before anything other than my wallpaper, comes up onto the desktop - any ideas? |

| 316177 | 2005-01-26 03:18:00 | yep you need a little app called bootvis it's a microsoft app and you can find it with just a little googleing.......... run it and clik the trace menu item then optimise. also before you do that .........clik startbutton/run and tpye in msconfig then tap enter .......goto the startup tab and Untick anyting you think i'sn't necessary at startup.....for example 'office find fast' and 'works calander reminder' and 'quicktime' and any other junk that loads in the background and does nothing for you cept slow down the boot up..........after that run bootvis...... ah there you go Im very nice and have found you a page to download bootvis www.softpedia.com |
