| 316287 | 2005-01-21 02:11:00 | Recently lost ability to view help pages in some applications e.g. Word , Excel etc. Help page opens with left hand pane showing contents and right hand pane has message" ACTION CANCELLED! Internet explorer unable to link ..... " etc. etc. and can't open any items from contents list. Has this got anything to do with Service pack 2 or firewall? Jonw :help: |

| 316288 | 2005-01-21 02:19:00 | Have a look in your program files for C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office and go to this folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033 and see if you have all the help files in there. You may have to reinstall them. hth |

| 316289 | 2005-01-23 20:57:00 | Hi . Files in Office\1033 are there but system can't read the .CHM files (compiled HTMLhelp docs) I will check out security settings? Something weird goin on. Regards |

| 316290 | 2005-01-23 21:29:00 | The first thing you should do is with any office app open click help and then detect and repair. It will ask for your office disks . Then you can narrow down where the problem is. hth |
