| 317487 | 2005-01-24 04:40:00 | Hi All, I recently set up a 2 PC network at home with Linux acting as the server for SMB and apache and making a dialup net connection. The second PC is on WinME and loses it's connection to the net after about 5 minutes. It can still use AIM, collect mail and share files but not surf the net or get to apache on the linux PC - it makes no difference if it uses opera, ie or firefox. I must have missed a setting ( or maybe set a timeout? ) somewhere but have no idea where to look now, all help very gratefuly received, thanks Mir |
