| 317132 | 2005-01-23 02:29:00 | Open Internet explorer, tools/internet options/connections tab, click on your dialup and select never dial a connection. It could also be a dialler, if it does this often and never dial a connection is already selected. Or dont use the browser,(in offline mode, if this is what you're doing), as its thinking you want to go online, and its bringing up the dialup. |

If there's nothing listed in the Startup Items folder, try Start > Run > "msconfig" (no quote marks) Move into the Startup tab and have a look through there for things you don't want running on startup. |
