One question before I go ahead is that at the bottom of the blurb on the site was this note: Important notes: This is the 'redist' version - all files are downloaded in one package (rather than an active download). DirectX is a system component. It cannot be uninstalled without reinstalling your operating system (!). Reinstalling windows is my last resort as I need to figure out how to temp store my 6Gb of MP3's. Can this be done without reinstalling windows? cheers Malone |

| 317297 | 2005-01-28 08:40:00 | U can't unminstall DirectX. I Think SP2 ? Has 9.0c .. If not yup, I would download it then reinstall it again. Yup it should be OK without reinstalling windows. It will most probably overwrite the files that are already on the system. |
