| 318071 | 2005-01-25 22:55:00 | hi just got a salvaged soundblaster card - can any one tell me - where dose the three wired : red, black, white cable marked "aux" on the board go - ? to the system speaker? will the card function via external speaker jack with out this cable connected is the speaker out jack on the external board a audio standard male plug ? how would i describe it? thanks all - these auseys are mad - i get up expecting a weekday where i can ask the right person and its a national holiday!! cheers will |

Not to the speaker in the case. will the card function via external speaker jack with out this cable connected 2. Maybe. Maybe not . Some cdroms work without the AUX. Plug it into AUX anyway. BUT then if u dont select / tick AUX in the volume control / whatever operating system u have, sound wont work. is the speaker out jack on the external board a audio standard male plug ? how would i describe it? Most probably a stereo out plug for speakers |
