317926 2005-01-25 09:24:00 Hi,
This isnt as sutpid as the title appears (i dont think). here's the problem. I recently merged my 120gig hard drive that had 2 partitions into one drive again using partition magic. Partition magic put all on the files that were on the F: partition into a folder on E drive called 'F'. It moved everthing including the "system volume information" folder, as i understand this folder is used for windows auto restore for when files are deleted that were not susposed to be deleted. Now im stuck with a folder "F" on one of my frives that i cant delete, the folder is 0 bytes in size so is it ok to delete this? if so how do i got about it?
Thanks, I hope that made sence

If the only thing left in the folder F is System Volume Information, then right click on it, select Properties, select the Security tab, and add a rule for group 'Everyone' for 'Full Control'. This will allow any user to delete the folder.
