2005-01-25 07:47:00 | Well for a start the processor wouldnt work. socket 939 is newer than socket 745 therefore the 2 are not the same | Edward (31) | |

2005-01-25 08:41:00 | If you are taking it back, is there any chance to get an nforce 4 mobo? Supposed to be a worthy upgrade.... | Curious George (3535) | |

What motherboard did you buy and from whom? I am confused. The two motherboards are different. |

2005-01-25 10:39:00 | I got the list of hardware from Dragon the day before. I came back to ask for the parts but they were really unhelpfull and rude. So I took the list over to PCU and they got the mobo. They seemed to have changed the CPU to the 3400+ rather than 3500+ meaning they are compatable with each other (the mobo and CPU) I dont know if that is good or not. The CPU has gone down 100  to the 3400. Is the mobo i have at the moment (Albatron) any good? | Tribomb (5547) | |
2005-01-25 10:47:00 | I would take the processor and motherboard back and ask for what you wanted... The 939 pin configuration of the Gigabyte motherboard will allow for a future processor upgrade if required - there are many 939pin AMD64 models available but only a couple of 754pin. | HadO (796) | |
