| 318280 | 2005-01-26 08:06:00 | I have an old laptop (Toshiba 440 CDX) that has been idle for about a year and I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that it doesn't boot. However, despite it's limitations today I would like to resurrect it. I am guessing that it is the internal battery that has gone flat but would appreciate any suggestions of other possible causes. The removable Li-ion battery is fully charged as it powers a second laptop that I have. When I press the power button I get a response from the various indication lights but that's all. At least it is trying bless its cotton socks. Thanks for any help you can give. Kibo |

Cottonsofts is simply an ad on TV about loopaper and they obviously did a play on words using an old saying from way back. Anyhow, hope you get an answer to your Toshiba problem. Hope my Toshiba keeps on playing well. Here are a few free phone nos that may help: Toshiba NZ Toll Free: 0800-441-615 Contact Service. Contact Service Centre: 0800-445-439 NZ. Good luck. |
