| 318659 | 2005-01-27 21:04:00 | Ok, Right click on Internet Explorer on the desktop then go to properties, then click the programs tab, then click the box at the bottom that says 'Internet Explorer should check to see whether its the default browser' Then just click apply then the next time you open IE its should ask if you want it to be the default browser then click yes. | 318660 | 2005-01-27 22:43:00 | Thanks Overdrive for trying to help. I did what you suggested but unfortunately there is no IE6 icon on my desktop only a shortcut. I located IE6 in the 'Programme Files' folder - then right clicked / properties the window that opened did not have a Programme Tab, only three tabs 'General' 'Sharing' and 'Customise' like to hear from you If you can think of any more suggestions.
