| 318626 | 2005-01-27 10:18:00 | Is anyone else experiencing delays in downloading the updates for AVG 7 or is it just me? (and a few others I know?) The update screen appears to hang (although technically it hasn't) while it is talking to the AVG server. It's pot luck whether the update works or not.... I've done a search through PF1 and Grisoft without luck. I'd be interested to hear other views. |

| 318628 | 2005-01-27 11:24:00 | There is a big one waiting for download, needed a reboot to install it. And yes, but I suspect their servers are very busy at the moment with everyone swaping 6 for 7 etc etc, which by the way is still being suported until mid Feb. |

At this time they also appear to have stopped all support for v6. Seems it is no longer free. What other options exist? |

I put it down to trying to download while the computer is performing a scan (on start up) and got around the problem by stopping the download, letting the computer get fully up and running then going back and doing the upgrade. | theother1 (3573) | ||
