| 319688 | 2005-01-31 06:17:00 | Whenever I dial into the internet or email, the first page that comes up says that the browser can't find the page, or it goes directly to the internet explorer search page when an address can't be found. This only happens when I first dial in - if I click on the link again when the connection is still active, it goes through fine from then on. This is regardless of which browser I am using. The same goes for email - when it first dials in, no messages can be sent or received - it is only if I leave the connection active and I click send/recieve a 2nd time that it will do it. I am running both IE6 and MyIE2 browsers, with all service packs, Win XP home (SP2) and outlook express 6. I have tried to create a new internet connection deleting the old one, but it hasn't changed it, and reinstalling all software from scratch doesn't fix it either - it appears to be something to do with the MyIE2 browser as it doesn't do it without that browser loaded, but I prefer that browser to IE6. If anyone can help it would be great. |
