319599 2005-01-31 03:18:00 Hi for the last week I have been unable to access www.stuff.co.nz and www.amazon.co.uk, I can access www.jobstuff.co.nz and www.amazon.com. I have uninstalled Nortons antivirus and zone alarm still no luck, repaired explorer, no luck, run regsvr32 softpub.dll reset/ cleared cookies , offline content , no luck at this point Xtra has given up on me. Can anyone help? nzjohn (7054)

319605 2005-01-31 05:03:00 had a similar prob recently and it turned otu that one of the many security apps on this pc, think it ws spybot searchand destroy or maybe spywareblaster, had modified my host file so that when I clicked on one of the site links which wer'nt working the system was simply redirecting me to 127.0.0.1 lol took me quite a while to work that one out ..........too damn much security apps grrrrr.... drcspy (146)
