319552 2005-01-31 00:20:00 The original plug has broken, the diameter of the screw on plastic cover can be no more than 7.5mm. For use with a Kenwood 2metre hand held transciever TR-2500.
I have tried Connector Systems, RS Components, Dick Smiths without luck. If anyone can point me towards a supplier that they know of or a forum that may deal with this type of equipment I would really appreciate the help,
Cheers all.

319554 2005-01-31 00:44:00 Just ask someone at Dick Smith (www.dse.co.nz) or Jaycar (www1.jaycar.co.nz) Rob99 (151)
319555 2005-01-31 00:45:00 The diameter of the plastic on the DSE 2.5mm plugs is 8mm. It would be possible to skim down to 7.5mm. The wall thickness would be a bit on the light side, but still adequate, alternatively replace the plastic body with heatshrink tube, Terry Porritt (14)
