| 319536 | 2005-01-30 23:11:00 | I like to hide my Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen, and I don't want to change that. However, sometimes it pops up when I don't want it to, obscuring the work I'm doing. It should disappear again after a second or two, but it doesn't always do this. Is there any way to force the taskbar to go into hiding when this happens? | colmack (2939) | ||

| 319538 | 2005-01-31 04:55:00 | But I want it on top of other windows! Mostly it's out of sight; if I want it I just point the mouse pointer at the edge of the screen and the window slides up, and out of sight again after I've used it. What do you do if it misbehaves and doesn't slide away as it should - this happens maybe 10% of the time. | colmack (2939) | ||
| 319539 | 2005-01-31 06:30:00 | It seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem (www.annoyances.org). From that thread, some have found that this third-party program Taskbar Activate v2.4 (home.nordnet.fr) solves their problem. You might want give that a go, but use at your own risk. :) | Jen (38) | ||

| 319542 | 2005-02-01 03:25:00 | Thanks everyone for your responses - especially Jen :) Taskbar Activate does the trick - I can now work with Opera in full sceen mode just about all the time, and my taskbar always pops up when I want it. Thanks again. |
