319336 2005-01-30 07:36:00 I have been messing around, this weekend, making a website on MS Word. How do I make the "LINKS" work? For instance, if have a link called 'Press F1' (sounds familiar!!), how do I get it to connect? Thanks PJ Poppa John (284)
319337 2005-01-30 07:47:00 Access the Help section in Word and search for "web links" in the Answer Wizard tab.

319338 2005-01-30 07:49:00 In Word, go to Insert > Hyperlinks. Enter in the text to display and the URL of the link. :) Jen (38)
319339 2005-01-30 07:58:00 The html code which is what Word will produce (open your saved file in NotePad to see the code) should be:

<a href="www.pcworld.co.nz">PC World<

That will/should show something like this:

PC World (http://www.pcworld.co.nz)

319340 2005-01-30 08:38:00 Try highlighting the word that you want to use as a link, right click it, then choose Hyperlink from the dropdown list, and fill in the web address in the box that comes up. That's how its done in FrontPage, and I just tried it in Word, and it seems to be much the same. Andrew B (867)
