| 320217 | 2005-02-01 06:34:00 | Hi pple, Ive had an ongoing cdrom problem, well its not the actual cdrom drive, what happens is when i read a cd, when its loading data from it my mouse goes all jumpy and if I'm connected to the internet (dialup) i get disconnected. i know its not the cdrom drive itself because i have tested two different ones. is this something to do with IRQ sharing or anything like that? how do i fix it? any help appreciated, thanks. | 320224 | 2005-02-01 07:05:00 | Hmm you could try replacing the ide connection on the cd. Since nothing in device manager shows any X's, or ? or anything else. In device manager, click on the modem and the mouse. Does it say theyre working properly?? Or does either show an error or something else?? when u click on their entry in device manager? |
